This is what happens when you get bored at work. Procrastination and random changes to what your LJ looks like.

Anways, I had a really good weekend, went up to see Greg and had so much fun, great getting out of here. Pretty busy weekend, I actually went paintballing for the first time. I was completely nervous at first but really enjoyed it once I got started. We actually met up with ben, wes and dom to do that and then did some RP stuff later on in the evening.

Saw a short haired Garret on Sunday :) and got to hear all sorts of plans for the new and improved potatoe cannon. That got me worried, espeically the cat bit...

All in all I had a lot of fun, but unfortuntely had to come home today, and start working straight away.

Disney Fun

Got to go to Disneyland today, and had so much fun. It was really crowded but we still got to cover all the fun big stuff so it didn't bother is too much. Also got a whole bunch of Disney merchandise, so they must love me right now but I couldn't help myself. Included is this round ball cushion with donald duck features, its the most adorable thing ever!! I even managed to spend the day in the sun without burning. It took a lot of effort with continuous applications of sunscreen but I did it. Now I'm exhausted and what to go to sleep but can't because I am still pretty wired.

I had a pretty uninteresting weekend for the most part. Saturday was really lazy, and then on Sunday I went out with my parents. We did Minature Golf (which it turns out I am terrible at) went to a harbour and got some lunch then went shopping hitting Borders and Best Buy, so fun places to be. I picked up Lumines for the PSP a kind of trippy Tetris type game, and sooo adictive. Can barely put it down its so fun. I think that puts the count it to 4 video/computer games I am currently trying to beat which is way too many for the amount of time I have. As well as the books I am supposed to be reading...oh well.

Urgh, It's not even 9 yet and this is turning into a long day. Got up at 6 'cause my dad wanted to be in the office early. Traffic was bad though (1 3/4 hours to get here) so we got in normal time anyway. Now the work I'm supposed to be doing is on a program which doesn't seem to be working. My dads in a meeting (the reason we attempted to come in early) so can't actually help get the program working properly so I'm stuck ranting about the day here already on my second cup of coffee wanting a third pretty soon. Isn't life great!

Alcohol Bad

Now I know why I never let myself get drunk. Well actually I don't remember myself doing anything too stupid it was the people around me. Kirsty had a birthday party last night and my parents spent the night away so of course that meant a lot of alcohol. It wasn't a big party, probably about 10-15 people there. Anyways most of it at this point is a blur I just remember breaking a couple of glasses (but hey I do that sober), getting hit on by some creepy guy I had never met before who seems to think "I love my boyfriend" means try harder though he pissed me off enough that I managed to avoid him most of the night so that he hooked up with someone else as well as my sister...lovely guy that one, talks of what my sister was doing when she kept disappearing (that I want to stay a blur), and sharing secrets in a werid truth or dare game. I actually went to bed early and left the party about midnight, I needed sleep and to get away from all of my sisters weird equally drunk friends who woke me up at 5 so god knows what state of mind they were in then.

Now its the morning after and I just want to go back to sleep.

I don't think I have been doing too much else, there were a lot of birthdays last week, which meant fun celebrations and eating out a bit. I saw the worst movie ever: The Devils Rejects. It isn't really scary just deeply disturbing. I came out of the theatre twitching. The good new is that as well as seeing the worst movie ever, I got to see the best movie ever twice. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is amazing. Very odd, but well done and just a bit of fun.

I got to start working again tomorrow, which will be hard seeing as due to several different things popping up last week, I didn't go in very much. Hopefully though I'll be going to DisneyLand on Tuesday with the family. It should be a lot of fun, because I haven't been in years.

So writing this now simply because I've got nothing better to do. Starting working for my dad today, just office sort of work, he needs help correcting mistakes in this program type thing. Very simple and very tedious, however it is giving me something to do so not all bad. Unfortuantely I've finished the work at the moment but got to stick around another few hours until hes ready to leave hence why i'm posting here.

Not much to say though, by weekend was very boring, only really intereting thing was helping my dad choose a car. Finally replacing the minivan with something decent :) Very happy about that. Other than that, playing lots of videogames...thats always relaxing.

Hmm, well now to go and see how much mayhem I can cause round the office with my sister...

Urgh, I don't know why people feel like they have to kill inncoent people to get their message across. Its dumb. What happened in London today was terrible, and I hope everything gets sorted out as quickly as possible and all those injured make a speedy recovery and that something like that doesn't happen soon.

So on to lighter news, I don't start working until next week now, damn complications. Though it means one more day to sleep in really late. I got bored enough today that I got my ears peirced. Taken me long enough but I finally did it. Other than that lifes pretty boring at the moment.

So tired right now. I finally finished painting my room today so its all pretty, but then I decided to finally unpack and wasn't satisfied until it was all done so I am exhausted.

My summer has been fairly mundane, lots of decorating, lots of shopping (too much shopping really), swimming/various other things to actually get semi in shape again and trying to find my way round the new city. Nearly there, at least I know where all the malls are...

I also got my hair cut, so a lot shorter than its been for a while, shoulder length so still long enough to put back when I get fed up of it.

So in short thats basically been it, not all that exciting really but i've managed to keep myself busy. Unfortunately I get to start working in July.

So got back home. And so far its been a bit strange. I love the new house and it has a whole load of new furniture so looks really pretty but it doesn't feel like home yet and its kind of depressing with the realization I know no one here, and it will probably take at least an hour to reach anyone. Only been back 24 hours and already been shopping and spent most of my money. Not a great start but it was fun and got new clothes and a swimsuit. Also got burnt, and realized I'll have to adjust to socal weather otherwise I won't last the summer. I've also planned out how I'm going to decorate my room, which I'll start on Monday when my grandma lives. Speaking of which shes taking us all out to the Cheesecake factory tomorrow, which is going to be good. Best restaurant ever.

I'm considering going to bed and its only 10...people keep really early hours here.

Okay, I lied I am going to rant about the hippies simply because of one idiot in my politics class. He started informing us of all the bad stuff happening to the students, money wise which in itself is okay. Then he showed us a film of what happened on Monday, the first day. Supposedly it was to show all the police brutality that was going on, really what it showed was the stupidity of people. These people were told what they were doing was illegal and action would be taken if they went through with it. They ignored these warnings. So the police come to break it up. They ignore the police. The police start arresting people and they still ignore everything. Then they are surprised when the police try and forcively try and move these people. Why do they think its alright for them to break the law? Because they have free speech? That seems to be their only argument.

So I created this journal, and feel I like I should do an entry. Now the problem is deciding what to write about. Complaining about some issue of my life is out, it just frustrates me too much and this is a bad place for it as normally comes with bad consequences. Or I could rant about something but there isn't too much going on to rant about. Annoying Santa Cruz hippies has been to death and after experiencing even more in my politics class this morning I just want to forget about them. I could write about whats going on in my life, but I certainly know that and anybody who may read probably does as well so its a waste of time. So the last option is writing something humorous/witty which I have seen recently and wanted to share with people. But again on that I'm drawing a blank.

Wow, my apathy is really beginning to amaze me. Two minutes of typing and I haven't written anything of substance. I suppose that reflects how I'm feeling right now...crap but I said that I wouldn't start with anything like that and I don't think I mean that too much anyway. Now before I do too much rambling I better stop until I come up with something to say. At least my page won't look so bare now :) At least something was accomplished.
